An overcast morning cut back a little on attendance today - but not much. Several of us that have open cars left quickly when it started sprinkling, around 8:00AM.
WOW! That last set of photos are the nicest I've ever seen from this event. Beautiful shots, congrats to your friend for the unique viewpoints and selective cropping.
Bentley USA (part of the VW Group) brought over a couple of new vehicles, including their SUV, the Bentayga. A local dealer for Superlite brought a couple of their cars. A strange 3-wheeler was there; I never did find out what that was. The Porsche Speedster was an interesting piece. I was told the engine was a 911 6-cylinder, with two cylinders lopped off. The front suspension was from a 944. It was VERY well done, from what I could tell.
I'd be curious to know how this kid feels about riding in this car. I wonder if he enjoys it or thinks it's interesting...or if it's just another old car and he just wants to see the exotics.
As you would expect, a great turnout on July 4th weekend.

That's me!
I was browsing your photos from the past few weeks at Katie's, and wondered what was the chance you might have captured my humble 914 before I scrolled across this. Thanks a bunch!
