Fairfax Circle (Cameron's), 01/05/20

The first Sunday C & C of 2020. After raining most of Saturday afternoon and evening, Sunday was mercifully dry, but cold and windy.
Still, we had a pretty good turnout!

Alan Olson and I showed up in our Elises, and we had a couple of other British marques represented today.
Check out the license plate on Dino's Jeep!

P.S.: The roads were wet, so it's OK that Paul left his '32 Ford Roadster at home. Note my obligatory picture of his Prius.

It was wet and cold out, but that didn't keep the diehards from showing up. We seemed to have separate parking for the 2 wheel drive cars, and the all-wheel or 4 wheel drives today.

We had a good turnout today. A large part of Sunday turnouts has to do with following a bad-weather Saturday. It rained Saturday morning, so Katie's was pretty quiet yesterday.
Whatever the reason, we had a (relative) lot of people and cars.

This has developed into a really nice, small but mellow get-together. Always several nice cars, and the people are great!
We meet at 8:00AM, and have a light breakfast at Cameron's, then go out and talk cars.

This C & C was founded after we were kicked out of Kohl's, several years ago, as the result of a few bad actors. We are anxious to avoid any problems, and looking for enthusiasts who appreciate nice vehicles, and understand that maturity is expected. Engine-revvers and burnout artists are not welcome.

Not a huge event, but punches above its weight in quality and variety!

Not only great cars, but great people. Attendees showed a young enthusiast their cars.

Wow - it's already March, 2020! A good turnout, led by our friend Paul's new acquisition - a '67 VW Beetle. We actually had two Beetles there today, as well as a Ford GT and a Ferrari Maranello. Plenty of nice vehicles to see...

FormerInstants is infamous around these parts
Alan here, owner of the DB9 (and an Elise)! I'm often out there at Fairfax Circle (and other places too) taking photos. I've been hard at work on my new website lately to make things a little easier to share, so I haven't had a chance to stop by here until now.

Here's what I got from this morning: https://www.formerinstants.com/Album...rcle/3-1-2020/
It's almost all of the Ford GT and Ferrari 550 if I'm honest, I tend to get fixated sometimes =P

If you're interested in my previous photos from this group & venue, that's conveniently accessible here: https://www.formerinstants.com/Album...Fairfax-Circle You can check that link each week I come out and find new things.

Also, if this is the right thread, there was a "V12 Edition" cars & coffee at GlasWerks DMV last week that I went to with my DB9. The "V12 edition" wasn't really enforced at all, but what are you gonna do... https://www.formerinstants.com/Album...rks-2-23-2020/

As long as we keep having sunny weather, we will keep coming out to commune with fellow car people!
