i am still debating whether i should compete in the Car Craft burnout contest... i think i could win it...but do i want to put the car thru that much pain... i dunno....

I can say that beyond the shadow of a doubt, Aj has done the largest burnout in MN C&C history. (That is not a challenge for anybody to beat it) 
I am planning drive next month to Rock Falls WI for some 1/4 mile action. Let me know how many are interested in going so I can see what kind of event to plan.
I have talked with a few of you about this already. Spread the word and let me know how many to expect. If we have enough guys, we could possibly get/rent our own lane.

If it's on I'm betting I can get a bunch to go. I know Raj got some radial slicks for his car and I'm betting Josh will bring his too (2 HPF Stg. II M3 ~ 650+ RWHP).

As for the drag racing, yes, i would def be down for that, as many here would be. just thought i would throw this out, but July 20th is Muscle Car Drag Day, this could be a day for many to go. i'll make a post in the midwest section. heres the schedule for RF: looks like Sept 20th would be ideal as anything is allowed.

I am thinking August 16th since we have the other event in WI on the 23rd and we will be able to talk about it and invite people from the C&C. Ill post a thread about the other event as well.

The next Amery Airport Autocross and Straight-Away Speed Run will happen on
Saturday, August 23, 2008 (rain date Sunday, August 24). Modern car advance
registration is almost sold out. Still plenty of room for vintage cars
(1979 or older) as well as supercars, exotics, and fully-prepped
non-street-legal race cars.

Yes,
Rock Falls has Test and Tune Saturdays and when I was there last year running,
there was also two guys from MPLS/St. Paul doing 9 second qualifying passes on their
Nitrous Busas! Also was a very badass Sceaming Eagle Harley!
