Minneapolis MN Cars & Coffee this Saturday 8/2/08
Hey guys,
It's time for our monthly gathering of car enthusiasts here in the twin cities.
Last month we had a phenomenal turn out with about 90 cars from many different parts of the world.
Location:
Caribou Coffee/Einstein Brothers Bagels parking lot off of Shady Oak Rd and Hwy 62 in Minnetonka.
We'll meet from 9am to 11am.
Map to Location:

This Saturday APS Autoworks in Shakopee is having a dyno day at their location starting at 12:00N, a few of us are planning on leaving the C&C around 11:30 and heading out that way. For a map, click on the link below.

Stay tuned to all of the Cars & Coffee threads as I am planning a special event after each one.
Please mark your calendars with the following dates:

It's a car meet, not a spa AJ
Maybe I'll drive my X5 - it's too hot for Corvettes.

In order to have better control of parking and who parks where, I have spoken with the management of Jimmy's (Right across the street from Caribou) and they have been kind enough to let us use their lot from now on for all of our events. So now, instead of turning right into the Caribou lot, you will turn left into the Jimmy's lot. Jimmy's opens at 11am and will offer 25% off of lunch to any of us there for the event!
Same rules apply, no racing, no burnouts or you are out.
We will be parking cars by Country of Origin (Ie: Germany in one section, Italy in another, US etc etc etc) and then perhaps by Marque (In a perfect world, this is how I want all of our events to be from now on) so if you see a Porsche and you are driving one, park by it.
We will have people there directing parking and letting folks know where they should park.
These changes will make the future events better for parking, pictures and easier for the regular patrons of Caribou and people who are there to watch but not displaying their cars in the C&C lot.
See you guys in the morning!!

Awesome turnout today!!! I couldnt believe how many incredible cars showed up! That 1969 Ferrari 250 GTB Lusso was beyond sick!!!
Luis, great job organizing everybody! The new venue works great for fitting more cars in and it is more photo-friendly as well!
I'll be posting pics later this afternoon or tomorrow. Great seeing some of you guys there!

It was an extremely outstanding event - just incredible turnout. Seems there may be a problem with the venue moving forward even though it was pre-arranged/coordinated.
I think this exceeded expectations by far!

We'll have to consider moving the venue due to AJ's block-long burnout...again! FYI, the MN State Patrol and Minnetonka Police have marked AJ on their top 5 most wanted ;-)
Thanks for coming out guys!
