Pricing question for 02/03?
What is a realistic price for 2002/2003 S. Thinking about picking up a used one so I can keep the miles on the 911 a bit lower. I looked on Edmunds and its saying 10-11.5 for a private party but it seems like every add I see everyone is looking for 16-17. So who is off here? Thanks.

i see the same thing. they want like 17k for it. If that's the case, you might as well pay 5k more and get a brand new one with minimal option.
this is the closest one i found in my area.

just my 2 cents, but I think both are off. I have an '03 Cooper S with 16k miles, and if all I could get was $10k, why would anyone sell it? Conversely for $17K, you can buy a newer one...look for an '06. Somewhere in the middle for an average mileage car is probably a better estimate.
Here's some Manheim wholesale numbers for 3/18/09:
Above ($14.5K / 28k mi.)
Average ($11.7K / 56k mi)
Below ($8.9K / 85k mi.)
Hope that helps...
