Need some help to make the decision..

Hello guys,

I'm in the market looking for my new daily driver. Since I started to do some outdoor activities (snowboarding, surfing...etc) I'd like to put a rack on my next new car. My question is should I get a Mini S or Mini S Clubman? All my friends think clubman is ugly but I found it somehow cool. Since the regular Mini is shorter lets say if I put my surfboard on top it then my car will prob looks like a mini helicopter. Can you guys give me some advises?

By the way, can someone recommand me a dealer near LA area where I can prob get a good deal on all new/used Mini?

Appreciate for your help.

I've been looking for good deals for the Cooper S... I'm in LA too..

Bob Smith Mini was trying to bend me over.

I'm trying to work with Alexander Mini now.

hey,
at first i'm gonna have to say that imo a clubman is a pretty cool car, but actually it doesn't feature any more space than the normal mini. nevertheless i decided to pick a mini and i'm still enthusiastic with the choice. admittedly the trunk is a bit shorter than the clubmans, but in my opinion the clubmans trunk makes no big difference.
Finally you should pic the car which you like better and not how your car will look like if you put your surfboard on top...
hope i could help making the right decision!!

You can always grab a side view pic of a Mini and photoshop a surfboard on top of it. I think it would help you $$ to justify a clubman frm regular Mini. But whatever you choose get an S and I did with no regret, good luck

I hear South Bay is a friendly dealer. I'm thinking about one for myself too. Are you guys getting a manual or auto for the L.A. traffic?
