Thumbs up

Ahh..the rare Royal Grey. Glad to see your enjoying it to the fullest at the track. 'No way to experience the cornering limits of a MINI Cooper on the streets...not safely anyway.
I like the aggressive look of the splitter and the JCW wing. Enjoy!

Great Mini and welcome to 6speed. Actually the Mini section is not so active as some other 6speed forum. Let's see if we can make it a little bit more "alive".

Awesome looking MCS! What wheels are you using on the track? I'd use those for street, why? I'm that guy haha.

Destructo: my track wheel/tires are SSR type C-RS (about 14 lbs) shod w/ 225/40/17 Hoosier R6's. my street wheels/tires are HRE 447R's (brushed finish) w/ 215/35/18 BFG KDW2's. i enjoy the "two faces" that the car has on the street and on the track.

thanks all for the welcome. i'll be around.....

i've made a few changes to the car since the posted pics......the splitter was not on in the track pics because that was my first time at Homestead and i was worried about clearance coming off of the NASCAR banking into turn 1. i've added a carbon fibre hood (bonnet in MINI-speak). it is painted body color w/ two cf "stripes" left unpainted. i've spent most of my $$$ on suspension/brakes/wheels/tires and haven't worried too much about hp. i could easily spend $14k to get a faster car or just buy a faster track car for the same money. here is a vid from Sebring. i posted it here on a p-car forum, but i will repeat it here for MINI enthusiasts....http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u...BOCSebring.flv

hope to see some of you on a nearby track, soon.....
