New guy

Hi guys!

New to 6spd but not new to cars. Here to start my P-car watch, or to torture myself

Current car is a 600hp C5 Z06 with 25k miles. Im a German car guy with background in BMW, but I feel like I was born to own a Porsche. Since my eyes are bigger than my wallet a Cayman S is likely, with the ultimate goal being a GT3RS.

I also enjoy doing my own mechanical work and tracking my cars!

Anyhow, I'm here to learn!

Chris

Welcome Chris. Lots of great information here. Just remember to take your time and get the car you want. Plenty of fish in the sea. Enjoy the journey, and report back

Welcome! If you have a Cayman S budget you may want to look into a 996 or 997 turbo. You will love one of those coming out of a 600hp vette.

Thanks guys!

I'll be looking for an NA car. I cannot explain it, I just prefer naturally aspirated.

I've had the pleasure of driving a EVT775 997TT. Great fun when that boost kicks in

Hello Guy's; very nice to be here and thanks for the nice welcome that I appreciate from all of you fine car lovers no matter what the car is as long as we all are safe drivers and it puts a smile on our faces from ear to ear and an occasional chuckle, I can hardly wait to participate with you Guy's to find out about the rest of the stuff our cars are capable of and what they're made of too, mainly the Porsche Cayman S, I am now working on a TPC turbo kit add on, 987.2 with intercooler, I have had it installed but with a minute bug in it which we think is an installer goof but it seems simple, this car has about 30% more power than my 86' 930 Turbo slantnose and will surpass the performance of a GT-3 or 997 turbo, It is simply amazing and TPC did their homework on this one, If any of you Guy's live in the Albuquerque area and are interested in this setup PM me and I will show you mine, at 5K feet altitude it is a Vette killer, Later..
