Newbie

Hello All,
Just purchased my first Porsche 911, super excited to learn everything about it. Found this great site and can't wait to get started. Any PM advises on how to take care of my car would be greatly appreciated!!!

Best,

Welcome to 6Speed. Grats on the pickup! When you say take care, you mean from a mechanical maintenance standpoint or a detailing maintenance standpoint?

Michael,
I mean from a driving stand point (brand new vehicle) and a cleaning stand point (products and tools/equipment/solution/wax etc. for the car and rim). Sorry for the confusion.

Just make sure you keep up with standard maintenance and don't put cheap gas in her and you'll be good. As for cleaning, stay away from automatic carwashes obviously. 2 bucket wash with quality soap (not dishwasher detergent) and clean towels. Wax are good, but only last a couple months. Better to first apply a sealant, then top with a wax depending on what kind of look you're going for. On my 958, my goto combo product wise for shows are Blackfire Wet Diamond topped with Wolfgang Fuzion.
