Introduction and help needed
Hi , I am from HK and glad to be here.
Have been driving in the fast lane for 30 years.. done Evo , Golf R , and now into my new Cayman GT4 since last year.
I have some issue with the GT4 and hope this is a resource to my trouble..
Since July I have some strange noise coming from my rear left brake .. like rubbing sound on a rusted brake mark.. ( like sounded every turn of the wheel ) .. when the car is warmed up ( funny it wasnt noticeable at cold .. in contrary to normal car wash overnight syndrome ) ..
I've seen similar complaint from other owner and taken the car back to the dealer for 3 times.. they have check all brake, rotor , even the parking brake shoe... no sign of stone caught in it ... but sound continue... only that now it accompany with some short squelch right before stop . anyone has any wisdom to it ?
BTW, I know the "normal" squelch from a sport brake and this is not .
But would the scratch mark in the " parking drum " the cause of it ... but it's like similiar on both side but only the left have noise.
