Hello, my name is Patrick and I just purchased my first Porsche around a month ago. It's a 996tt cabriolet with tiptronic and around 83k on the clock. I wanted something fun, reliable, and more refined than my current sports car. Everything about the car seemed great, it was very clean inside and out, clean carfax, clear ppi by a local Porsche dealership. But that changed when I took the intake box off to do a boost leak test and found rodent sh*t all over the top of the motor. Further inspection found it behind panels in the front truck too. So now I'm on the journey to tear the car apart and inspect for damage. I suppose I needed to drop the motor eventually to do some upgrades and maintenance, no better time to start than now.
