I'm back...

My name is Andrew and I live in the SF Bay area. 15 years ago when I was in high school and in love with cars I spent a lot of time on here. At that time I had a shifter kart and a BMW M3. However, I got serious about my career and pretty much stopped caring about cars for the last 10+ years. I'm finally at a point in life where I have extra money to spend and I'm bored/need a hobby. So I'm in need some recommendations on a car! Ideally I want something that's comfortable enough to take out for a few hour drive from SF to Monterey or maybe even LA on weekend trips. But I also want something that will do well on the track and puts a smile on my face when I floor it. It would also be great if it's a car that holds its value well and is reliable. Last night I looked at a 2015 GT3, that has been my dream car ever since I saw Chris Harris testing it. However, I was quickly disappointed. It's obviously an amazing car, but (my 18 year old self would kick my *** for saying this) it's just too harsh. The seats weren't comfortable, road noise is terrible, ride is too stiff, etc. Is the Turbo significantly more refined and comfortable? Currently I'm considering a 2009-2015 Turbo, 2014-2015 Audi R8 V10, M3 (E92 or F80), C/E63, or maybe even a P90D Tesla. I know, I'm kind of all over the place. I'd appreciate any recommendations of other cars to consider or input on these. Of course I'd like to spend as little as possible (in terms of depreciation) and keep the price under 125k. I'm not going to drive a lot, maybe 2-3k a year. It's not that I don't want to put miles on it, I don't have to drive anywhere. So it will just be for enjoyment.
