Hi! New member in NC. Was looking for another DD and found a 2010 Blk/Blk 970 Turbo w/ 42K miles. Have had the car for about 30 days now and she grows on me more and more. Everyone ask if I like the difference and if there is a real difference between the Porsche and my other DD which is a heavily modified/custom BMW E60 M5 that's been supercharged making 612WHP.

This is such a different vehicle - power delivery, comfort, ride ... all of it ...... to go from a screaming Supercharged V10 WOT 8k+ RPMs to the 970 Turbo was night and day!

I admit I go much slower in the Porsche :/

Since I took possession 30 days ago I have added -

a. IPD plenum
b. AP Diverter Valves
c. TechArt PDK Paddle Shifter Retro kit
d. VR ECU Tune

and the "ALL" important tint!

These mods really woke the car up and she is much more enjoyable to drive!

I've ordered a set of FVD Race DP's - in anticipation of these I had the resonator removed yesterday and installed a set of 4" 100 Cell HFC's - since the tunnel is so narrow with exhaust spacing there is a support cross member connecting the two cans - I had the bar cut and installed a 2.25" pipe to aid w/ scavenging - this is a temp solution/setup allowing me to keep the valves until I decide which exhaust to install.

I've already been looking into the next stage which is the turbo upgrade - I read some articles when Vivid Racing did one as well as looking into FREED Performance. Honestly, I haven't done much research on this yet - I like how the vehicle feels with the current power and the launch is consistent and responsive ..... I can only imagine how adding another 100HP and whatever the TRQ# is .... I'm confident it would be a Smile a Mile!

Still trying to figure out what wheel solution I want as well .....

Excited to start the journey with my new to me - somewhat of a sleeper - Porsche Panamera Turbo!

So that's me .... my car .... and what I am going to do with the car ..... I drive 100 miles round trip each day just for work .... I NEED the drive to be exciting as I live in the woods and have lot's and lot's of back country, freshly paved roads to use to get to my destinations!
