GT-R, Is this true?

I'm seriously considering a purchase, but not with these issues

WTF are they thinking? I didn't think too many 6speeders were interested in the GT-R from other posts, but these comments don't help support the interest in it.

Doesn't seem to be that big of an issue to me.

The GPS speed limiter and $1000 after track check won't be on US models.

I know some of the GT-Rs were driven to TAS with aftermarket wheels. The "error code" is just a light because the tire pressure monitoring system isn't carried over to the aftermarket wheels.

Mines has since released their VX-ROM. Any other issues will be figured out with a little time.

Full article.

Agreed Powder, but it's a bit of hassle after buying a new car, especially for myself, suppose it's like cracking the Iphone!

this car seems less fun every day I read about it....almost as if its a car for someone who would never really push his car to the limmit, but would rather brag to his friends about what his car "could" do

it seems as if those things will only be implemented on Japanese models.
U.S. and Europe are ok.
