I don't think it's the best looking car on the road - but I still want one.

Love everything about it except for the smoothness from tranny stop/go and the roof liner material. I really start noticing when I've heard it sucks. The 911 has one of the best roofing materials IMO.

Yeah, I agree it could be better and would prefer it was like the blk headliner we had on the 997 (and I never like light headliners anyway).

A member from the other forum had it done in suede. Very nice! Looks like the headliner on my E60 M5. I'm going to have it done, since the shop who did it for him is local to me. The best part is the price, he only paid $150 and the pics look really good.

Oh man I am so jealous, only 150? - any pics/links?

Thought about looking into some custom interior stuff but assumed it would cost more then I want to spend on anything like that right now (and you know how it is, once you start looking into mods its all over )

I was being lazy, even though I knew I would get asked this question.... lol....

http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index....opic=24782&hl=

scroll down someone asks him for the headliner he mentions on his signature.

also attached some of his pics. For the money, you can't go wrong.

I just realized that the front fender is nasty looking, kills the entire appearance of the car from the front quarter view, left or right... just bad

Have you walked around one, really looked at the car in person? Just curious as I have found it does not translate well in many photos - of course it is subjective, and some are close minded about it to begin with, but IMHO in person the lines of the car work together and it does have presence. I happen to love the lines of the front fender, the look of it varies quite a bit (hard lines from some, round from others) depending on the angle.

You can get it done anywhere. If you go with Alcantara it would probably be cheaper & last longer. Looks exactly the same.
