i hope he reads the manual, it states right in there that but for the Perf Optimization Service you can DIY as long as you use the correct fluids

and it takes more then a little 'fast/harsh' for the car to need the 1800 mile tranny fluid change, just ask chrisn

wow car forums sure spread a lot of poor info along with the good

what kind of car do you own that you have to pay $1800? holy crap! i don't even pay half of that for 5 track events!!!

i guess i just have a cheap old gt-r. you must have an expensive exotic.

my entry fees are costing more than my fluids.

Point is if Nissan decides the reason your car broke is due to your driving not fault of their manufacturing your warranty is worthless.

holy goodness +1.

unfortunately there are only ~1000 gt-r owners, but there are a lot more people talking about them like they are experts on a car that's only been out for a few months, as if they experienced this first-hand.

it's all - well this guy on the internet.... so it must be happening to all 1000 gt-r's, and i know exactly what happened, and all aspects of the discussion, because other people said so.

Fluid exchange program? The whole thread was started about Nissan not honoring a warranty due to how the car was driven.

Sucks to be that GT-R owner... MSRP + "Fair Market Value" (F.U.N.Da.***) Increase + $20k new transmission = Porsche 997TT.

you must be paying thousands mark-up for the transmission.

yeah i'm hating every minute of driving this amazing car. it has too much grip.

shouldn't the stealer add mark up on the transmissions too? Its limited supply just like the GTR itselves, right?

For such a big heavy car going 0-60 in 3.4sec, something has to give.
Porsche could probably make the 997TT run 2 sec to 60, but it'll last a day...
Whats next for this GTR? don't corner too hard cuz it'll pop the wheels off?
