One of the many reasons, I've taken this car off my want/next car list.

As a nissan salesperson after talking with our master tech, the only one authorized at the dealership to be able to work on the cars there are a few scary aspects of the warranty. Nissan states the car either has to be serviced every 18,000 miles, or every 1800 miles, if it is driven in a "racing" manner. If you drive it too fast/harsh and dont have it serviced at this 1800 mile interval say goodbye to your warranty.

perhaps i don't see the humor in taking the car to the race track for one or two hpde's and then having the dealer service the car....

unless you take your car to the track repeatedly and never change your fluids. then i guess this would seem odd to you.

perhaps that's why you laugh. you don't:

#1 - service your car after track use,
or
#2 - track your car.
