What should I offer for this...

Please help me decide how much I should offer this guy... its above msrp, should I make offer to this dealer? or should I look for another for MSRP.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

If possible could anyone provide me info on New GTRs for MSRP around SoCal, Riverside area.

Thank You

It's safe to say MSRP is around 76k for a general figure. I think what your able to pay for it comes down to how your going to pay for it. If your a serious buyer they should be able to work with you. I would make them an offer under MSRP. You can always raise your price, you can't lower it.

I'm pretty sure the est of 76k is just the MSRP, not including tax, title and tags.

You have to remember right now, not everyone is in the market for a GTR. I personally would love to buy one, but I'm no where capable of affording one right now.

I did a search for some GTR's in my area, they were all going from 75k - 85k. theirs about 10 for sale at dealerships.

Thanks for the response Francesco, the car is not for me (never really liked it) am buying it for my girlfriend's dad. I spoke to someone who just bought one, he said 79k out the door (tax, titles etc) Is this true?

Almost always the price is before tax ... in the OC its 7.75% sales tax plus about 2% in DMV fees so if you get it at 76k (which would be a good deal) your OTD price would be circa 83.5k.

I have seen this actual car at the dealer and its looks excellent with the Super Silver paint.

That is possible. I know this guy who owns a shop and he got his for under 80k. I guess it all depends how bad they want to close a deal and sell the car.

Forget tax when neg. The more they disc, the lower the tax. Just neg the sale price. My friend traded his 08 M3 cpe for a GTR at 5k over 6mos ago. I would offer invoice. I dont care what end of the world your on, it isnt gonna sell over sticker and a few thousand off is in line. GL

Just look on ebay or autotrader. No one should pay over msrp anymore for these.

I paid the old MSRP two months ago in VA (near DC) for a super silver, premium model. Came out to ~78k out the door.

I hope this helps.

78k out the door? WOW, what is the sales tax over there? Isn't the old MSRP for a premium super silver 76,540? So you only paid 2500 for sales tax? That's a really good deal then.

Currently looking for a white/black one at the old MSRP... don't think any car is worth over MSRP in this market/economy, yet many nissan dealerships thinks GTR is the HOTTEST THING in the WORLD right now...so 10k over the old MSRP is a very good PRICE!!!
