Not sure, haven't seen a good enough pic to see the tread pattern on the tires.

i'm no longer impressed with the average z06 driver/owner... i've run faster than all of them i've seen at the 1/4 mile.

(i'm not impressive as a driver)

just last sunday, i ran almost a full second faster (11.4 - 12.3) than a z06.

not saying my car is faster, just saying that just because people buy a fast car, doesn't mean they can drive it.

BTW the vette in the video was a C5 Z06 NOT a C6 Z06, the owner of the vette stated that his clutch was slipping badly in the races.

if it was a C6Z the GTR would get Raped for sure HAHA

 

from dig races it depends on how good is the driver of Z, but from a roll i can tell you the GTR will have no chance to keep up (and this is from experience ).

 

+1 only if its a c6z06. GTR might pull on a c5z06 from roll.

 

Drivers races will usually go to the GTR, because it doesn't take any skill to roll race one.

 

this is why my wife expects to get an 11.2 next trip to the strip.

she takes 2:35 to get around vir, but she can run a 1/4 in 11.4 all damn day.
