Where to track a GTR around MD?VA..

Thinking about getting a GTR, my question is where/how to track it. I have been to Summit Point a couple of times with the PCA when I had my 993. I want to be able to do something like a DE in a GTR. Any suggestions... thxs

VIR is never too far - great fun. Summit point is good as well.

As far as how - I'm not sure what you mean...

VIR and NJMP would be the two choices you have, other than Summit Point, within a reasonable driving distance from the Baltimore/Washington area.

VIR full course would give you a chance to "stretch the legs" on the GTR more than any other track in this region. You could also go a bit farther to Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen.

sorry for the confusion,, I have only been to Summit as part of a complete track day, DE and it has been held by the local PCA.

Any ideas on a local club or is just arrive and drive at Summit or VIR. thought you might need to belong to an organization to get in

any infor would be greatly appreciated, I ve picked white as my color.. now about the money......

Check out chinmotorsports.com. They hold events at VIR several times a year and have a couple coming up.

You can just do the "friday at the track" events at Summit, just register before you show up or you can even just show up and register but its an extra 10 dollars.
