Epic Battle - GT-R vs Scuderia
I agree the GTR driver was definitely more polished and aggressive than the Scuderia driver. A testament to the Scuderia's credentials was how long he stayed out in front, despite lack luster driving.
....the real questions is what was that R8 driver doing (2:30)?

Those hand jestures at the Audi had me rolling.
No sound on my computer for now but I know what he was thinking lol. Gotta say that after seeing the vid if that F430 had a driver on par with the GTR's it would have kept ahead of the GTR easily. That driver wasnt as good and still kept the GTR at bay for a while. No surprise as the test Ive seen between these two the Ferrari was about a second a lap faster at VIR. Sweet cars

The Ferrari driver was horrible. His lines wear bad. Probably because he insisted on going in too hot and turning in early every time. He was always getting pinch off on exit. As far as which car is easier to drive?? Well both of them are rolling computers. The Ferrari (while only RWD) has an electronic rear differential and a alphabet soup of drivers aids. If the same guy drove a vette he would of spun
, put him in a viper and this would be one of those fatal accident videos.

rofl!!!

wow what a great video... at one point the GTR driver goes "go handsome/f***er GO!" loolllll
and i think even the two in the gtr knew that the scud driver was doing rather horrible... mid way through they shout "he is killing himself."

Fantastic video and driving from the GTR driver. Towards the end looks like the GTR driver was bullying the F-car driver into making a mistake, and just took his oppurtunity to pass.
Would have been interesting to see equally matched drivers in both cars.

Me thinks so too.
Anyway, I know I would have pushed harder in a GTR than in such an expensive Ferrari. Most Ferrari drivers at the track are there for FUN! not pushing the car to its limits...
Hardly "epic". Doesn't even deserve capital letters...
Fantastic driving? I couldn't even tell he was pushing it which made the Ferrari driver look even worse. I wasn't impressed by either one. Show some lap times vs. some benchmarks then I'll be impressed. Isn't the Scud more like 3,000lbs anyway?
The only reason I call it "racing" is because there happended to be much slower cars on the track being passed.
So the "way too close" part? I would call that passing during a lap session but hardly a "hot" one.

It certainly isn't lacking in terms of specs, 2775 lbs, 510 hp, CCDBs and P Zero Corsas at each corner.
If I were in the scuderia, I would just let him by out of fear that moron would rear end my $300k car (which he almost did in the video)
Dry weight. Very impressive car.
