Nice Car and great color choice I picked mine up in Houston, TX. Have you gotten past the 300 mile mark yet? I've struggled through that lame 3,500 RPM mile mark and am now up to the 5k rpm mark Can't wait for the full rev meal deal!

Are you planning any mods? I've been making the tough decision on midpipes and have narrowed it down to the Harmon and the HKS resonated midpipe and trying to make the final decision!

Nice post there--didn't you see the no soliciting sign on my thread If you've got those options with a warranty that stay's intact give me a call and I'll be first in line!

I'm at just shy of 800 miles. Once I got to 600 I got more liberal with the throttle. The manual recommends holding each gear longer and says nothing about no full throttle acceleration at the 600 mile mark.

I'm going to Jotech today for my first mod. They are installed a backup camera so I don't hit anything with the fat *** on this car. Besides the camera I might do an exhaust and Y pipe, but not much else. I like the idea of keeping my warranty intact. The biggest thing I hope to do this year is mod the driver. I've never spent any time on a track learning proper car control so I need that way more than go fast parts on an already insanely fast car.

Enjoy your GT-R.

I'm planning on a BL mid pipe and Cobb tuner, but want to ensure it won't void my warranty.

I'll be happy to take photos of the new nav screens and post them later.
I had a suspect vibration on my car a few months ago. My service dept suspected the TCM (he read some codes that repappeared for some reason - I'll explain those later if you'd like). Anyway, when they called Nissan Japan (GT-R HQ) for the replacement component, I found out that Nissan follows the cars (if you specify too much information) on the internet (especially NAGTROC) like any other manufacturer would. This came to my aid. HOWEVER - because they saw that I've taken my car to the drag strip, modded the brakes for track use, installed the Cobb AP, Y-pipe, raised the boost, etc... - they wanted to download my Flicker data and find out if I have any 'warranty' issues. Bottom line - I'm ok. No warranty implications. Nissan THEMSELVES told me, not just the dealership. As long as you don't abuse the car, you should be fine (abuse: VDC 'off' launches when cold, etc...). When I launch, I use VDC 'R'. Apparently there is nothing wrong with that.

They read my boost levels, etc... I never had any intention of hiding anything from them, as I don't believe I've ever abused the vehicle. They concurred. I hope this helps.

If you get a Cobb AP, I HIGHLY recommend getting a custom tune. It is night and day better than a canned Stage 1 or 2 tune.

I didn't see your edit there...

Our warranty is standard throughout the industry. It can be found here:

Either way, give us a call and tell 'em Neil sent you...
