found a dude in Victoria that i trust who will do the sides and back for 500 or so bucks. Will post the results eventually if not embarrassing
worst case scenario is to peel it off and lose 500 bucks. Still haven't heard back about paint price here.

That is one decision I am glad sir that I do not have to make since I bought a black GT-R. The lower body panels do not make such a stark contrast, and I am glad I listened to my dealer on that one.

I also do not think a black carbon lip would look good. I think the carbon fiber look is highly overrated nowadays, perpetuated by pundits. I was glad to see only a small amount of it on the GT-R. I think we are going through a fad as with any new technology; like the jet fins on the 1957 Chevy. If you want as much carbon fiber as you can get for weight reduction and racing, then that is another story.

just now saw this. Thanks for the compliment first of all. Updates?
I Absolutely would paint it. It looks awesome in the pics. Great photoshop work BTW. I wondered how the silver would look, but it definitely needs done. Only challenge with the front is it definitely chips quite easily from bugs, road debris, etc. But I think you need to do the front also unless you have Carbon.

No updates yet. Going to vinyl in next few months and leave front black. If I need to I'll do front after. If I don't like I'll remove and if I like it and find the vinyl itself un-appealing I may then paint. Thx for your comments and support.
