Switzer R1K Test Drive
I just got back from a quick visit to Tym's shop and we went out for a ride in his latest R1K. All I can say is these cars are plain nasty! He told me on the way out it just hazes the tires but I figured since Tym is getting old that he was full of ****. 
Granted it was 40 degrees out on the stock tires, but he was right. 2nd...3rd...even 4th...it just tore the tires off in each gear while sliding sideways - during the full boost shifts! What a cool feeling. I've been in a lot of fast cars and I was really impressed. HP to HP, I would put money that this R1K beats a TTG from a 40 roll. I think these cars are just scratching the surface and we'll see Switzer GTR's competitive with the race gas TTG's within the next 12-18 months. It's going to be fun to watch!

Jamie - when someone with as much extensive experience with very high HP cars as you have describes a car as "plain nasty", it speaks volumes!

It's the damn tranny that makes this car so intoxicating! It never stops pulling. That and the stock like drivability. It cruises so well. The funny part is we're not even using the car for what it was really designed for - road courses!
