Ebay doe nothing in terms of actually forcing sellers to honor auction prices. All they do is ban them from selling any other items, but all the seller has to do is setup a new account. I've dealt with sellers refusing to sell items for the final auction price and it's always ended with the seller walking away with barely a slap on the wrist.

Got news from BBB

here is what the dealer said

"On August 09, 2011, the business provided the following information:
Mr. Vang has engaged in slander against Honda of San Marcos and attempted to purposley and unlawfully disrupt the dealership's ability to operate. As a result of these documented offenses and on advice from counsel Honda San Marcos will not discuss this matter with the BBB."

As long as you've been telling the truth, I doubt they can claim slander. As for unlawfully disrupt the dealership's ability to operate--not sure what they are basing on that one.

I am not going to call Ian back. I posted on the BBB

"I have not personally slander anyone or this dealership. If you have proof that I personally slander this business please let me see it. As far as the car go I still want my GT-R. I am not going to call and talk to Ian. He is a RUDE manager. I would like to speak to the owner as speaking to Ian will get no where."

I see your story has made it to several blogs. In the past, other dealerships that have disregarded eBay rules have been pressured to do the right thing.

Good luck.

It looks like they've taken down their Facebook page. And now that it's on Jalopnik all heck will break loose. They will be called and emailed relentlessly. I already noticed they are getting negative reviews on a number of dealership rating websites regarding this matter.

To be honest its an "OK" deal at 55k.. with 36,000 miles..

I would rather pay a little more and get one with less miles.. but thats just me..
