It begins...pics of transport pickup. I'm not even there since I'm typing from Manila right now. More pics to follow...

Just a couple of file pics of some goodies Switzer is adding to the GTR...and their R1kx kit.

C2Design (Tampa) and I worked the interior design. The upholstery was done by Jesse's Upholstery in St. Petersburg, Florida. The carbon bits were sourced from various locations...GT-RR.com and Specialized-Performance.com. C2 did all the tear down and all repainting of piano black interior trim bits.

Wow, going all out huh. You plan on taking it to the track? If you're interested in some street "fun" with comparable cars in the area, I can point you in the right direction.

Once I get it back...headed to Bradenton Speedway and hopefully the next Texas mile or some SFlorida airfield events. As far as some winding tracks, I'd like to dip my toe into that, too. A couple of buddies of mine are trying to setup some track school getaways (e.g. Bondurant) so that we can sharpen my driving knowledge and seat skills.

I avoid street racing these days since I've been in some near misses with the law and other cars back in the day. No use in having a 1000+hp car with it impounded and me behind some bars or worse.

If its some ones thing, I'm not one to judge...just make sure Mexico is clear so if something does go wrong someone else not involved is not hurt. It's not me anymore...I've got a family and business to protect.

They had it on the dyno Friday for "break in" and some low boost pulls. Monday should be high boost tunes and drivability. Hope to have it back in 2-3 weeks.

On a side note; Let me know if you are going to the Texas Mile in the Fall. I would probably trailer down my car and meet up with you. I would most likely only run the 1/2 mile due to the aero on my car.

Congrats again.

Jon's GTR arrived yesterday, I really can't put it into words and my novice photography skills can't do this beast a 1/10th of the justice it deserves.

Regarding the build... this will be an R1K-X: built to 1250+AWHP specifications, final power numbers TBD. Stay tuned for updates as we commence with the build.

Check out the pics below:

Just pics of parts going on R1kx build...plus pics of "Track Pack" - CCW C10's, M&H Racemaster drag radials, Yoshi duckbill CF trunk (only used for the 1/4 track NOT street - road racing and high speed runs we will use Hoosier R100's vs. M&H drag radials)...

Switzer 90mm Exhaust (switching from Agency Power exhaust...which was too restrictive for our purposes)...these are file pics plus exhaust tips will be powder coated satin black...

Switzer CNC Ported heads...

TRACK PACK...
