1068HP! Record Breaking Build by TSM w/Boost Logic

I know I know, its another 1000hp GT-R...but I still had to post it This virtually bone stock looking GT-R was sent to us a couple months ago from Indiana looking to make 4 digit power. The car was 100% BONE STOCK when we got it, completely unmolested. We chose to go with Boost Logics GTX30R Godzilla kit to meet our customers goals for this build. We love the GTX turbos by Garrett because the 12 blade Billet compressor wheel does a very good job of efficiently moving LOTS of air. We compiled a list of supporting mods and went to work!

With our 3.8ltr TSM SS1 engine at the heart we let the mad scientist at Shep Trans work his magic on the transmission, putting together a great Stg 2.5 package for us. With the motor, turbos and tranny taken care of we turned to supporting mods. Some ID2000 injectors were installed with twin Aeromotive fuel pumps to supply the fuel. Boost Logic intercooler piping, intakes, and FMIC were installed with our custom TSM Products y-pipe. We opted to try out the new Ultimate Racing 4" race exhaust on this car with the higher boost levels. We also decided to add Kelford stg2 cams along with springs to the heads in order to add some revs to this girl!

On The Dyno:

The GTX Turbos flow amazing at lower boost levels giving the ability to run more power on pump gas. The car made an amazing 844whp on 22.5 PSI using 93oct fuel. Not bad for a drive around map. All the parts were obviously working together way so we dumped in the race gas! With C16 in the tank Doug went to work on turning this monster up! With every couple lbs of boost the power jumped. The car sounding meaner and meaner was just loving the new found power. Finishing out at 1068 WHP on 34lbs of boost we were done! The car feels absolutely amazing on the street, and sounds great! The exhaust isn't too loud driving down the road, but one hammer on the gas and the car tears off with authority!

The customer is needless to say VERY happy and the car is on its way back to him. Another 1000HP daily street car added to the TSM portfolio. Enjoy the pictures & Video Below. Please feel free to throw out any questions you have...i'm happy to answer.

Matte Murder is infamous around these partsMatte Murder is infamous around these parts
If a guy didn't want to ever run race gas would you build it any different? Would the trans need to be built etc? On pump could you run a car set up like this hard on a road race circuit for 20 minutes at a time without damage? except to the tires, lol.

We wouldn't change the build at all, but I wouldn't recommend running this kind of power on a road race course. I would go with the GTX2871s and make 750...perfect amount for the track.
