I had a chance to speak with Sam Mitani of Road&Track. He test drove this car and he told me off the record that this car is faster and has better handling than the 997tt. Take this for what its worth. Also, I don't know which GT-R he drove.

No need for a flame suit - I bet a lot of 6speeders will be buying GT-Rs. I just think it looks ugly (I'm no fan of the Koenigsegg, either). That weird roofline is what kills it for me - but I will reserve final judgement for when I see it in person.

Has it been confirmed yet whether the GT-R will be AWD?

EDIT: Looks like yes? http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/...line-gt-r.html

Absolutely, without a doubt, it will be AWD. More than likely heavily rear-biased AWD too.

Thanks. I'm surprised they would still have that up on their site. Isn't this car making its debut in Tokyo in like 60-90 days?.
