Investment Banking People
There are always opportunities out there, granted. But with the number of firms that have gone belly-up recently, I'm thinking the environment has got to be pretty grim.
The plus side is that usually this lack of opportunity means a lot of really smart people who'd otherwise disappear into the big firms may instead chase startup ideas. Many will fail or meander but many will succeed, creating a lot of economic goodness some years down the line.

I'm in Danville/San Ramon area and go to Walnut Creek quite often.
What choice did I have, somebody caught me in a moment of weakness and convinced me I had to check it out.
