recommend a shop to remove ceramic coating from intercoolers?

Bought some Protomotive ICs that apparently have had a ceramic coating applied on the outside of them. Might have it taken if off and need a local shop of some kind to consult with. A machine shop? A fab shop of some kind?

A powdercoating shop maybe? I have seen MAAS Brothers in Livermore recommended on here.

thanks

I just had these guys do some coating on my downpipe off my Grand National. Quick service and a good price. Check them out.

Thanks Manny. I should actually be visiting you soon to mount my new rear tires. My current ones lasted only about 7 months!

Powdercoat shop is your best bet, they use an industrial bead blaster to strip the coating. Just make sure they understand exactly what they are blasting, you don't want the charge coolers to look like it was used as a baseball bat.

Thank you. But will the bead blaster damage the fins on the IC? They seem kinda fragile no?
