I could be a possibility for the 24th. I talked to Alex, (and maybe James) at Sharkwerks about going to the Speedster gathering that weekend in Morro Bay. Depending on when we leave, we could hookup either for the first leg or from Morro Bay to SB??

Morro sounds good. I just spoke to the wifey and she has re-arranged her schedule so that she can go. The catch is that we won't be able to go till Sat, May 1.

If anyone is open on that date, we can all meet up early (maybe around 930am) somewhere in the Bay Area then head south together.

If you guys want to do the drive on May 1, it will not be good for me due to work reason.

well, just got back from a great weekend in SB. Whew! Great weather and a pretty drive although long(approx 4.5 hrs each way). We took our time and stopped for a break every couple of hours. Gas'd up and scraped all the bugs off the windshield and bumper/spoiler. Had to do this a lot unfortunately. Thank god for the clear bra.

On the drive home, got pulled over by a CHP around San Luis Obispo on hwy 101...I was doing 85 on a 65 zone. Luckily, only a warning was given. Ha! 11-99 plates saved me again. Amazing!

 

Glad to hear you had a good time Neil. It was a perfect sunny/warm weekend for the drive. I didn't know you have one of those plates... we need to talk to see how I can get one.
