I didn't see any similar threads in the Norcal section. Looking for a place to try on and buy a helmet for DE events. Any recommendations locally?

At Infineon raceway... they have a lot of helmets to look at and try on for fitment.

Chiming in with a "me too" - I bought my most recent SA helmet there for DE use. Good service, and they had some deals on leftover inventory like driving gloves. Might have been at last year's Wine Country Classic, which reminds me that the re-titled Sonoma Historics is coming up in a few weeks...

Depending on what group you'll be running with - definitely check the rules & regs! - you may or may not be allowed to run with a Snell M or motorcycle-rated helmet. Probably better to stick with an Snell SA ("special application," specifically includes car-based motorsports), but it might open up a few more options. For help with an M lid, I might head to Scuderia West at Duboce & Mission in SF.

I was able to try on the SA2010 Pyrotects at his place in Campbell and he pricematched a website I was considering purchasing from.
