Help with CDC-4

Bought a used CDC-4 from one of the local P-car guys. Had it installed this AM at a local dealer. Unfortunately, it does not work. They say it's in the changer, that all connections/coding show the radio is signaling the changer, but nothing is being output.

Anyone who has a CDC-4 available to help me isolate the issue, that is, swap out cassettes and/or the changer itself to determine if it is the changer or if the dealer didn't code it right? I would assume to take it in steps, first swap cassettes, second swap changers.

I'm located in the San Francisco area.
