It was only a short drive; I don't think you guys would drive up here just for that. We can do a longer run next time and include this stretch.

I would be up for a drive on the east bay. Perhaps someone can set it up this Saturday? The route taken from the Jan 1 pelican drive was great.

I can only do a short early drive this Saturday... family day (more like parents and in-laws day).

Here's a 26 mi route we've driven before. Altamont Pass out and Patterson Pass back. I thought it was fun.

Eugene, I believe we made a left turn on Mountain House Rd. and a right turn on Kelso Rd.

May be we then take 580 going West and take Palomares Road back to Fremont.

Skip Patterson Pass? Wasn't that the best part?

That's not what I meant Eugene. The PCA drive that we took was taking a left turn on Mountain House Rd. and then a right turn on Kelso Rd... then over to Patterson Pass. I was suggesting that after we are back to point "C", we can do Palomares Rd back to Fremont since you're going back that way anyway(for f1 too). The reason I suggested that was because the drive is quite short... just wanted to make it a little longer.

Sorry I misunderstood. For a longer drive, another possibility would be to take 84 South from Livermore and then hook up with Calavares down to Milpitas. I haven't driven that part but have heard that it's pretty good (maybe I need to go on a scouting trip ). Are you thinking this weekend or sometime later? It sounded like you were short on time this weekend. I haven't cleared it with the boss yet either for this weekend .
