Wifey wanted to sleep in; woke up at 7:30... what should I do? Yeah, take a drive... at the Altamont Pass! What a nice drive!

 

Nice! Hey -- you should have given me a call.

 

Didn't know you needed a therapy session too! Maybe we can plan one on the Altamount Pass next time. It is a little bumpy on some stretches, but it is a very nice driving road over all. I lowered my rear to 36 psi, very nice on that road.

 

Did you come back on Patterson Pass or a different route?

 

Didn't go over to that side... drove back the same way. Did you go to the tech inspection yesterday? Many people showed up?

 

My wife always thinks it's weird to tell friends...he's not here, he went for a drive....by himself!

Yes -- I was there from around 10am to Noon. It was great to catch up with folks and meet some new ones too. It was well attended -- I think they have more signups for the upcoming Thunderhill day, so they had quite a few cars to tech as well. It looks like Gunter was going to have to stop taking cars at some point.

I'd say they spend at least 20 minutes per car -- including putting it up on the lift. I think it's very cool that they spend a precious half day on Saturday to do this for free. There's another tech inspection at Kahler's this Tuesday evening.

Hey dj, that was my old lip but added a splitter designed & made by Enrique and Ben (they were on your Saturday drive).

You need to stretch your lambo's legs to this side of the bay more often.

Thanks Todd! We had showers a couple of days this week; but now, the weather is great. I saw you registered for the 1/2 mile shootout; if you don't miss a shift, you should do excellent. Hope you guys get some good weather soon!
