Best place to ski/board in Idaho?
+1! boy! we're getting a great summer planned out!
DJ's for catered dinners....
Marks's for icecream......
Hey everyone, I should throw in my 2 cents too. I listened to Larry about Snow Mass and I loved it down there. I would absolutely recommend that you guys look into going there. Aspen is a great town with plenty of things to do. Having the choice of 4 mountains to ski/board on is great. I'm going for the second time this year with Larry and friends. You guys should come with us sometime. I had a blast skiing with Todd at Stevens! I bet that we can probably wear each other out.
As for the original question about Idaho, well, I went to Sun Valley once years ago and never went back. I wasn't very impressed with the ski resort to be honest.

I agree with Jason for skiing hit the steeps. Kicking Horse, Jackson Hole or A-Basin. All others are just for gliding and socializing.
jason,
todd had a great time as well! he said he hopes that the back side is open next time. he loves that mogul field!
mark,
thanks for your info! maybe one of these days we can have a 6speed ski day, even if it's just up to snoqualmie/alpental! hope to see you tomorrow at bowling. =)

Park City? Utah. This would be the one ski hill in all of Utah I would not recommend. Not one good Run on the entire mountain. The only thing good about the place is the beer is cold at the base. Alta then Snowbird are where the skiers go.
I've only been to Schweitzer once and couldn't wear enough clothes. It is best as far as shortest drive from Seattle Area I agree. I like McCall better as well. Your from Spokane you should go to Apex sometime. A little farther but the terrain is really damn good for a little mountain with NO one on it. Highly recommended over any of the East BC ski hills. It can't be more than 3 hours from you guys.
