Josh,

Give me a hollar some time, I'd love to check this garage of yours out. Do you have the tools to back it up?

Yea, I have most any tool you will ever need no matter what kind of project you are doing construction. BTW in the garage I have; a SS Beer/food fridge and microwave so you do not have to clean up to get your grub on. Of I also have a 5.1 stereo and 21"TV in there to keep you busy. I spend a lot of time there when I am not frustrated at my car. I just need more electric in there so I can hook up my air compressor. Who ever designed this freakn house and only put 1 electrical outlet in the whole garage. It just kills me.

If I do not have the tool there is a Kent tool shop 3.5 miles away that is my home away from home.

let me know when a good time to come out would be man, I'll see if I can drag this pocket punjab/mad scientist out with me. I'm pretty good with cars (especially when it comes to heavy stuff or torquing heavy things down haha) but Ashis has a MUCH better understanding of them.

OH, THAT DOES NOT LOOK GOOD!

Yea, I would do a leak down test & make sure it's the HG. Good this it's a easy swap out on a S52!

it's not that bad, compression was fine, I just checked for hydrocarbon in my radiator and my exhaust and the test came out very well. There's no more milkshake on my either.

This is just a very temporary fix. I'm doing cams here in a few months and I'll fix this issue then.

Wow that looks bad.. after you fix it you should chang your oil at 500 to 1000 miles to get the rest of the water out of your oil.. Oil caps also will do that on most porsches and other cars, from short drives.

I may buy a new head with new springs, valves, retainers, resurfaced, blueprinted, ported and polished and flow bench tested and save myself some time on the R&R.

I'm definitely doing it in my own garage though. No way in hell it can take longer than my damn clutch install =). it's pretty easy if you have the right tools and remember to line everything up at Top Dead Center.

The car should sing after that!

Really, the S52 HG is like 8hrs. It's very straight forward & pretty accessible. the intake & exhaust mani's are the worst part.

It will be done quicker than my clutch install. I'm thankful to have an inline 6, 4 cams would definitely suck.

We have the right tools and air tools =)

now the real question is to Supercharge my car and go for well over 330 whp or go for 270 whp NA with cams (it will cost about the same initially, but I think the SC will cause me more heartache than it's worth, plus I'll get the "Boost Bug).

YA boost bug is a Bytch! Do the cams, throttle body, and headers and all other bolt ons you can. My sc is a PITA. I love it but the Boxster motor is showing its weekness hence the oil leaks. After working with Todd last week I crawled under the car and tightened 10 bolts in over 3 locations.

Do the S50 intake & the schrick cams! It will be far more reliable & be far less problems! Plus the good SC kits are to much $$, you might as well get a Euro S50 in there!
