PJ,

How much did that cost you and where did you have it done again?

That looks PERFECT. (every time I wash my wheels, I wish they were a bit glossier)

By the way PJ, bring it to the Les Schwab by my house off of 522 (Kenmore).

I'll go in there with you and make sure they take scratch your wheels on install (Discount tire F*cked mine up)

The kids there are complete gear heads and have always taken really good care of my stuff.

Powdercoater is in Preston -- www.powdervision.com

It was $75 per wheel...

about 7 business days

Wheels are already at Group 2 for mounting -- they do all my wheel/tire/alignment stuff... great group (no pun intended) of guys and close to my house.

I did not mean to steer this thread away from David's sweet new DAS bar!

David -- who is doing your powder coating?

PJ you thread jacker

I took mine to American Powder Coating in Auburn http://americanpowdercoat.com/

Some people at work said they had good luck with them so I went for it. For wheels, they are also $75 each. They may be a little quicker than your place. They said my roll bar would be done tomorrow. Take about fast turnaround. Unfortunately I can't get back down there until next week to pick it up.

Group 2 definitely gets my vote too. There's no way I'd take my wheels/tires to those guys at Les Schwab or Discount Tires or any other high volume wheel/tire installers.

I'm in the same boat as you, but I got such a good deal on tires at Discount that I couldn't help it.

The dudes at Les Schwab stopped charging me for stuff a while ago and they didn't even scuff my RC's any of the tires times I had tires mounted on them. They're less than a mile away from me too, so I always use and recommend them. (they actually respect cars)

Hopefully I will be able to drop it off tomorrow to get them started on it. Went in with no issues. I just removed all interior pieces to make it easier to work with. Josh and I came up with some new ideas for the interior pieces. I may have to make some changes before putting everything back together.
Sob, Sob oh so sad

I was hoping it would have stayed pure as the driven snow. I now need to find a new one to drool over.

I love how she went from "acceptable girl" to "town *****" in Mark's eyes

stick enough pipe in her and that is what you get... I digress...

Vincent----I may spring to find seats for your car IF we would ever get to see it again....

mark---The interior will go completely back in. It is much easier to install the bar with it out though.

It's still pure. Nothing has been altered for you. It uses all factory mouting points. Once it gets back together, you will drool even more. Just think, all your current Porsches have roll bars/cages in them. Why would this one be any different?

Pretty good point about the cage. Maybe I do have one or two in the cars.

I'm still looking for another virgin

See, I'm just prepping it for you. And besides, mine can be a born again virgin.
