What's wrong with a bunch of car enthusiasts going on a long drive, getting some hotel rooms, then continuing the drive the next day? I'm sure none of them are going to sleep in the same bed or next to each other as you are assuming.

You're kidding me, right? There are so many things wrong with this picture. I'd be okay with a long trip if a few more rooms were used but that many guys in that few rooms is just wrong.

So let me get this straight. If you went on a long drive with lets say Vincent and Larry, you would have a problem with sharing a room with two beds (one person on each bed) and one person sleeping on either the sofa or floor?

I didn't go...I am at work. And if I went I would get my own room or share a room with a buddy (seperate beds of course).

Well, if you guys are getting 3 rooms like I was told. Then that leaves about 3 rooms for 12 people. Aka 4 people per room. Aka 2 people per bed. Aka (you be Heath Ledger and you be Jake Gyllenhaal) x2 per room. Aka have fun walking next week. Because no one there is partying with Mrs. Strangelove with an audience of at least 3.
Larry and Jason have been half way across the world together and are long time friends. It's different when they're splitting a 200-300 dollar room between 2 instead of splitting a 50 dollar room between 4 people.

Well we went from 3 rooms to 7... The people who got their own rooms, opened them up to other people.. So the max people per room was the 3 in mine..

We had pretty decent weather the whole way there. Maybe of a rain shower. Weather at the coast was nice, didn't rain when we were there. Sunday was a pretty solid day for the drive back.
