What a crazy weekend we've had...rain, hail, and snow. Here are some shots after a quick wash to get rid of some of the grime. The couple in the first pic were chapping my hide and not getting out of my frame, but it turned out to be an OK photo. Once the weather gets better, I'll do a better photoshoot.

Love your car (especially the OEM Speedlines), but IMHO it would look 100% better with a period correct rubber edged whale tail vs. the anachronisitc wing that you have on now.

That's a beautiful aircooled. You may consider getting a front spoiler lip
to balance out the rear spoiler.

 

You're close. It's Crown Hill in Ballard on the bluff overlooking the Shilshole Bay Marina. If one were to bring a ladder to this location you might be able to get the marina in the picture.

BTW what's with the comments on how the owner should modify his car? Just enjoy the pictures of a beautiful car. It's obvious he is proud of it just the way it is.

 

Agreed. I've been wanting to go back to OEM or getting the "tea tray" turbo spoiler. The RS-type tail was installed by the PO. Anyone out there wanting to do a swap?

Mike, the pics were taken right above Shilshole. The light was going down quickly (~6:00pm). I took the photos at 800 ISO and it was barely enough, which is why I was pissed at the peeps in my frame. What the hell, you can't find another place to pose for your dumbass self portrait? Rant over.

You know your right! I was thinking Amazon Green. A rare Porsche color that looks sorta blue until you put it along side a real blue.
