Since this is a porsche show can I get away with a dirty car??

 

^^^it will be similar to the ferrari show last weekend. the pcars will all park in the show area, and the other cars will park on the street sides. so sure...your dirty car is okay! lol! it's a pca thing.

 

Hell Yes. Dirty cars are the cool ones. I don't even own a wash mitt

 

well if that's the case, RT will win the grand trophy for "dirty car" with his lotus and s2000! he's NEVER washed them! lol!

You got to buy lots Q-tips to clean your car for this event.

 

^^this one is more of a show and shine verses a full concours. what they told me was you pretty much need to just was your car. it's a "light concours".

thank goodness, because i went to one concours class and whoa! too much work! =P

 

So has it escaped anyone's attention that this is "Mothers Day"? Just thought I'd bring that up for the guys that are planning on attending without sending a Note to Old Mom that morning at least.

Oh goody! I can come to this and since I am a mom, this is what I want to do on Mother's day - I'll bring my son! However, the windshield film that Matt put on my car has some noticeable defects in it and he is not replacing it with the new better product until 5/16. I'll wash my car though (have washed it three times this week) I'll plan to meet you guys at Whole Foods at 11 - I'll have just returned from Birmingham Porsche Sport Driving! Looking forward to finally meeting some of you I have not met yet.

 

I’m there, and the car will look clean and good as new I promise. Maybe mom will want to go with since it is not a crazy scream inducing drive.
