Garage Door Contractor recommendation?

I am in the middle of remodeling my garage. Making good progress. One of the things I'd like to have a contractor do is my garage doors. I need to raise one door to the ceiling and install a wall-mounted opener. does anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks

Dubercars (Daryl) has a very nice garage opener -- side mounted to as to not have anything overhead to get in the way of a lift...

If I were doing mine over, I would go side mounted as well... as it were this is keeping me from adding a stacker which is probably a good thing as I cannot afford Mark's RS America... YET

Nice!!!

I am not sure if Daryl's is a "Liftmaster" but I think it is.

Quiet, nice, and out of the way.

Once I catch a full blown case of RSAMERICAitis, I may have to look into this...

guys I have a guy doing the 1st of my 4 garage doors tomorrow. I have the wall mounted ones going in my new garage and he is telling me most of the ones online don't work worth a crapola. PM me if you want his info. He has worked on my business warehouse doors for a while. I'll be curious to see how my new doors will be and will finally find out partially tomorrow.

A lot of those wall mount garage doors take a whole new garage door rail and spring setup.

We typically use Gale Contractor Services for garage doors, they're alright, might call them just to get another quote to compare to the other guys.

Rusty with "Hung Right Doors" is my man in Olympia who has done some incredible glass + motorized work for me in the past. He has installed some killer stuff for me. Though his work is more commercial, some of the houses on these boards are the size of small buildings.

My sister-in-law just remodeled my garage door with her Civic. I can use the references, too.

^^ I'll have to check out the pricing of your guy. The door we're using in one of our Medina homes is very similar to that, We'll have to give him a call.

Let him know Mark sent you...He was 20% cheaper on the doors then the Avanti rep in my area. Different door but the one on my home will be in tomorrow and the other garage hopefully in 2 weeks. I'll let you know if there is really any difference.

^^ Sounds good. I'll be needing garage doors for the next few houses this year so any money saved is a good thing :-)

Thanks Mark. I'm heading to New York later this week for some training. I'll be back in a month and reach out to your guy. I look forward to hearing how your project turns out.

For me, I'll want to hold on to the doors I have, but changing the tracks, and mechanisim should be cool with my wife. Looks like July will be the month I finish the garage.
