My parents gave me their timeshare up in Birch Bay, So decided to spend a week up here to "find my center and re-align my chi"

Some hickups before I even got off. I was getting a crazy shimmy from my passenger front wheel, it turns out the bbs wheel wasn't seating properly on my spacer, which required a little filing of my wheel (something I didn't have the heart to do), so a visit to Group 2 later, I was good to go.

On a sadder note, shortly after I left Group 2, I had to attend my uncle Calvin's funeral. He swore up and down that he wouldn't let cancer kill him and it didn't...just about everything else did, but that's just the type of hardass man he was. He's in a better place and will be missed.

Seems like a cool vacation, except for the weather! I was down at Cannon Beach for Memorial Day weekend, when I left king county it was like 80, I get there it was 55 & rainy. Oh well had fun anways. Cool pics mitchell.

I'm running 500 up front and 600 in the rear,

I may go with 600 up front and 800 in the rear though,

 

TCKlines are great CO for Bimmers. Is there a reason for running heavier springs in the rear since yours is front engine w/ low hp.

 

Since the car is so prone to understeer, offsetting the spring rates can counter act that. We'll see, It will take a few track days before I do something like that.

 

Well, "So Prone" isn't the right thing to say, especially to a bunch of porsche guys (lol).

The car is designed to understeer, staggered wheels and tire sizes, sway bar setups.

I'm going to go with different swaybars before I go with those huge springrates.

 

Birch Bay alone in crappy weather... sounds like you are on a "solo honeymoon"... take it easy on yourself up there

 

If you understeer, wouldn't you want to increase traction in the front (either with less stagger in the tires, or spring rates closer together)?
