Feeler... 07 Audi S8

I might have an S8 for sale. I was thinking $85K.

It has 12K miles, it's black on black with the Carbonfiber interior and Bang-Olufsen Stereo.

This is the like the A8, but with the V10 Lambo engine. It's AWD has air suspension, nav, ipod etc. Amazing car.

I'm moving in the coming months and brokering this car is going to cost to much, so I'm selling it and will likely buy another when I get where I'm going. It's that nice.

Does my asking price sound about right?

Seth.

That's what I've been wondering. Where are you off to, Seth?

I'm thinking of going back out east... my wife and I have lots of family there and two little girls that don't get to see them that much. I also want to buy some buildings in Ottawa, it's a city of renters (Gov. town) and rental properties are well priced.

I won't be going for another 10 months as it turns out, it did appear as if my if MS was going to let me out of my obligation, but that wasn't possible. I'm ok with this, I will likely move forward with my plans in Ottawa and continue to enjoy the NW.

Wouldn't shipping it be cheaper and less hassle than selling and replacing?

I wish... $2,500 in shipping. 6.1% of the blue book value in duty, 5% of the blue book in Federal tax, and 7.x% of the blue book in provincial tax.

I have 2 Turbo's, a Jeep (has more in mods than it's worth) and a 42 foot coach to bring in, so I'm thinking the Audi will be the one that stays. I might get rid of the coach also, in the land of the cold and frozen the coach makes a lot less sense (although it is great when travelling with a baby and a 5 year old! hehehe).

Ah, so it's not the shipping as much as it is the importing. Sounds expensive. But at least you can import it. My car's not even allowed in!
