Speedware Lapping Day...Sept 4th....Anyone going?

The cost of the track day is not the issue, all the other supporting things along with it. My play money is gone for a little while, & I just can't do new rubber, brakes, and all the other things.
FWIW, I was were you are, spent way, way, way to much money to play @ the tracks. Right now, my bank accounts & CC's can't support it.
Chances are it would be the silver one that comes out, that car I can walk away from, the C4S, I can't. Plus brakes, & tires cost less for it!

Bring the mini -- maintenance is included -- so you will only be out tires/gas and mini tires are cheap because they are so small right?

Unfortunate news via mail today ... Speedware cancelled their track day on the 4th ...something about getting bumped for a Mitsubishi Day 
... those who prepaid are getting a Sbux gift card (don't know the value yet?) ... the letter also said that there was no reschedule date, so prepays are getting full refunds ...i'm guessing there weren't enough cars signed up for the event (they needed 60 to break even) ... last time I checked 2 weeks ago, they only had 30 ...

^^speedware is having an open house/tour on the 13th. it's also a bbq. perhaps you can go to that instead. i know, not nearly as fun as the track! but it's still a bbq! whoopieeee! =D

Hey guys I wanted to let you all know that we had to cancel the Speedware Lapping days for Sept 4th. Pacific Raceways came to us asking if we could switch dates on our lapping day to accomidate a Mitsubishi Corp. event. Pacific Raceways has always supported us in our business and we want to in return support Pacific Raceways. The option that they gave us for an alternative date did not work out on our end, so the end result was to cancel the event. I wanna thank all of you for your continual support of Speedware and we will be back next year with both lapping days.

I also wanted to let you guys know it had nothing to do with not having enough people. At the time of the cancellation we did have around 30 people but on average we were getting between 3-5 applicants in the mail or phone calls a day about the event. This event would have been full come the date. Again sorry for the inconvience
