Summer time is almost over! What has everyone been up to so far? Camping, Projects, Vacation, Etc.?

Just spent a week in SoCal. Other than that, not much going on. Here's the obligatory Disney fireworks pics:

 

We went hiking up by Rattlesnake Lake! oh...and i had my decals done on the b-car!

First, I must remind you that when you are retired, every day is a vacation or a weekend. Second, I don't do pictures. That's Jason's job .

I did a two day Skip Barber high performance at Laguna Seca in July where I fell in love with the Boxster. Went to the Kirkland Legends Car Show, and the Good Guys Car Show at the Puyallup Fair Grounds (over 3000 cars) both primarily for street rods, and the BMW CCA Concurs in Renton (pretty much a bust). I've done a number of drives: Anacortes for dinner, Yakima and Cashmere for lunch an exploratory drive around Mt Rainier to check road conditions (terrible). A pre-run of this weekends BMW CCA Olympic Peninsula drive out to Cape Flattery. A ho-hum drive to visit friends and relatives in Oregon. An overnight to Leavenworth to drink beer and listen to the Oompah band.

 

work work and more work. i need a vacation.

Well, since Stephen couldn't go on our tour at the end of the month, maybe you could see your way clear to break away for four days of driving fun.

Me too - new job, so work, work, work. Headed to Hawaii next month for golf, beach, sun, and fun drinks with little umbrellas.

 

I have a rat terrier too!

 

^^you do? our rat terrier is 12 years old. i've had him since he was 8 weeks old. i love that dog! he's our buddy!

i remember when i got out little guy, he was so small he would fit in one of my hands. now he's a big bruiser! =)

when his time finally comes and he passes away, i'll definately be interested in getting another rat terrier. i'll have to contact you guys!

 

Jody, perhaps it is just the angle of the pictures, but is your little dog quite well fed He is very cute!
