Pictures of my 997TT with TURBO side lettering !

I ordered the TURBO side sticker from Barrier Porsche about a month ago and it got here 2 days ago ! I wasn't sure it will look good on my 997tt, but the only way to find out is to buy it and put it on ! Accutint did the installation and they really did a great job ! I think it turns out OK ! What do you guys think ?

Love the car, wheels, and wing, but definitely not a fan of the sticker.

I think it looks ok but it would've been better in a darker silver/gray instead of black.

i like it william! i thought of doing mine in silver on my silver car just to make it blend in more, but i really am happy with the black.

i just had the same thing done to mine....silver w/ black. i knew people would either love it or hate it, but that's what makes it different and more unique to me.

but that's what a lot of mods are about....people either like it or they don't. that's okay though. as long as you're happy, that's what counts. like i said before..i have PINK calipers! lol!

so i give it a "yes" vote! here is mine:

I like yours too Jody ! I totally agree that either people would love it or hate it ! I wouldn't have done it to mine if my 997TT is completely stock ! I think your wheels matches the decal perfectly ! We should take pictures of our cars next time we meet ! Did you get the sticker from Barrier too ?

I think the problem is that you have two contrasting looks going on.

As it is with the decals in place, you're giving the car a much racier look and the stock silver finish on the wheels doesn't really complement that. If you were to powdercoat your factory wheels black to match the side decals, I think it would really look fantastic.

At least with a sticker you can run it now and when you get tired of it take it off. Love the car.

hi william! nope, i got my decal from a sign design place online.

yep! we should definately get our pictures done together! i'll be at the icecream drive, but i think there will be sooo many cars there that it will be hard to get you and i side by side. maybe we should get together on a weekend day and get some pictures!

and for you..since your running stock with a "race looking" decal, that just means you have to go out and get some mods to go with the decal! woohoo!

i was just at speedware today. i can't stay away from that place! sooo many toys! lol!

william,
i applied mine myself. it wasn't easy with getting the bubbles out and holding it up, cutting it over the door opening, etc. did you have barrier put yours on?

black wheels will make the stickers look better IMHO
but then again, I think black wheels make all cars look better
