Dyno day either 12/20, or 1/10

Looking to do a Dyno day, either this month or next. It will be a AWD Dynojet dyno, in Kirkland @ Carb Connection. There great guys, & really know what they are doing. It will be 3 runs, A/F & boost. You get a nifty print out of the runs.

Date: 12/20
Time: 10am-mid afternoon
Location: Kirkland @ http://www.carbconn.com/
Cost: $75 for 3 runs with A/F & boost
Capped & 15 cars

Could I get a run pre-Revo flash, and a couple after? I already have a baseline, but it would be nice to see same day gains on the same dyno.

Oh... And 1-10 works better for me.

1/10 would work better for me. If I can get my 944 running and enough body panels on it to drive over there I'm game. I want to see how few horses it putting down. Maybe I can get lucky and put down 136!

Guys it looks like most of the other people can do 12/20, so that will most likely be the day.

Yes, we can do a before & after.

I'd be up for getting a baseline on my 951 and 12/20 would work for me.

Doesn't CarbConn have a Dynojet as opposed to a Mustang?

Yes, I was mistaken, it's a Dynojet, AWD dyno.

Cool! I want some nice P-Cars there!

$75 for 3 runs with A/F, boost & print outs. If you bring a thumb drive they can load up a program for you to overlay & play with the runs.

A warning to the AWD guys, make sure to disconnect your driveshafts. I took my car to Carb Connection and smoked my front differential. I think a "knowledgable shop" would have know about this but apparently not. I was wondering why my front wheels were not turning as fast as the rears Not a cheap fix, and on my own dime.

Are you sure it was do to the dyno? I didn't have a problem with my car. Or any of the other cars I have tuned there.

That thread has no real information in it, just "don't do it", I have never seen or known of any problem with AWD & Dynojet. If there was a problem, I'm sure the guys running the dyno would be aware, & take the proper precaution. If something happens due to their negligence, it's their fault, & they have to take care of it for you.

Just be sure to let them know that it's THEIR dime if something breaks.

Thanks for organzing this. Is there a sign-up site or do we just show up? The reason I am asking is because I want to invite some of my AMG buddies. Thanks.
