Okay guys...it's a few weeks away, but I thought I'd post it up in case you are able to make it! it's the pca's first of a series of autox events for 2009!

They have it scheduled on Valentine's Day, but if you decide to go, you should still be home in time to have a fun afternoon/evening! Or bring your sweetie and make a fun day out of it for the both of you! Who knows? maybe they'll enjoy doing autox!

While my wife enjoys car meets, I don't think this is what she'd have in mind for V day. Have fun.

 

Aww, bummer! I've got a friend coming to visit from out of town that weekend. I'll have to catch up with you guys on the next one.

 

Don't think I can make that one happen. Definitely would like to, but I'd be in the dog house.

 

I'm going. Totally sucks that it's on V-day!! Worst part, the Auto-X awards banquet is after the Auto-X, talking about being in the dog house!

just some advice from experience.....dress really WARM! it gets chilly standing out there all day. bring gloves and a hat, something to drink, snack on, etc. wear comfy clothes and shoes. and of course...have fun! you'll meet some great people out there and see some cool cars. they go by classes. some are stock, some are modified, and some are very heavily modified. it's pretty cool to see and even more fun doing the runs. soon enough, you'll get your turn!

I'm out. There is a WWSCC event the weekend before that I will probably attend instead.

 

Jody, I might be heading out to the event that day. Not planning on the autocross though. I might do the skills day. A friend wants to go.

Is this autcross typical in the sense that you stand outside and **** cones?

I mean "****" in the American sense, not the British sense...Paul.

yep! it's pretty much the same as all the autox's. serious ******** going on out there! lol! i think it's a practice day in the sense that the times aren't counted towards your 2009 autox times.

 

hey everyone,

I wanted to go to this autox but just as I was about to register, I noticed that you have to be a PCA member or a guest of a PCA member. I own a 350Z, so needless to say, I'm not a member. So a friend of mine (Vasiliy) suggested that I post on here and see if anyone wants to take me along. So here I am, at your mercy. I'm going though serious autox withdrawl, so if anyone can take me along (and one more 350Z owner, so 2 total) that'd be great.

 

^^normally i'd be making this event and i'd be happy to take you along as my guest! i won't be making this autox on the 14th. but i wanted to post it up for you guys to see in case anyone wanted to make it. i'll keep you in my contact list so next time i go, i'll let you know and if you'd like to come along as a guest that would be fine with me! =D
