This was my first outing to this event, and my daughter and I certainly had a great time. James it was certainly nice to meet you briefly while we passed taking pictures.

Great pictures and looks like a good turnout today - sorry I missed it but hope to see you next week. I do need to know one thing...I love that little white dog - what kind of dog is that (I want one like that someday!) He is so cute. Nice yellow Aston too - never seen that one. All the cars look super! (Jody, great picture of yours)

 

I'm now at the point where I look forward to coming home to see the pictures as much as I enjoy the event. I was so surprised to see that many cars show up, especially with such uncertain weather until late in the week.

It really takes about four people to work the lots, two on each side of the entrance so we will need more volunteers for next week. Stay tuned!

It's rare that anyone lets me know what they are bringing that day. Some have very large collections and just drive whatever pleases them that morning. What is important is that we continue to manage it well so the 288 GTO has a reason to come out and play. I'd guess that at least half the cars were new at the event this time so on nice days when they all come to play we're really going to have our hands full. We're going to work with Tony at Desert Fire about us sticking around for food afterwords as a group. It should be a lot of fun. He's a really great guy and couldn't be more supportive.
